At Youth Shelters & Family Services, there are a number of ways you can be involved in our organization. If you’re interested in making a donation or volunteering, scroll down to view how!

What we need..

If you are interested in donating, please consider purchasing: gas gift cards, phone gift cards (to renew prepaid phones), hygiene products (tampons and pads – all sizes) and non-perishable food. Additional needed items are listed below.

If you can make a monetary donation at this time, please click the donate button above to provide much needed flexible funding to help us address the increased need of young people in our region for emergency assistance. You may drop off new or suitable gently used donations at our Southside location at 5686B Agua Fria St. or our Midtown location at 1570 Pacheco Street Unit B6 in the Plaza de Comercio office park between 10:00 am – 4:00 pm or you can always order online and have the items shipped to our address.

Transitional Living Program
  • Bath Supplies: Bath mats, bath towels, wash cloths, toilet and sink plungers, toilet bowl scrubbers, trash cans
  • Kitchen Supplies: Kitchen towels, plastic dishes, plastic cups, silverware, dish drying racks, pots and pans, spices, trash cans
  • Hygiene Supplies: Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, brushes, combs, hair elastics, hair clips, razors, shaving cream, toilet paper, perfume/cologne, makeup
  • Cleaning Supplies: Clothes hangers, sponges, reusable latex gloves, scrub brushes, dish soap, paper towels, toilet bowl cleaner, bleach, floor cleaner, glass cleaner, laundry soap, large trash bags, mops, brooms, vacuums
